The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) entrance exam is conducted every year by National Law University Delhi to admit students to its five-year B.A LL. B program. The exam is conducted in an offline mode. The AILET paper has a negative marking policy of deducting .25 marks per every question that is answered wrong. The notification for AILET exam is released by NLU New Delhi on its website as well as leading national newspapers each year. AILET 2019 was conducted on May 05, 2019.
The AILET exam for BA LLB (Hons) course comprises of 150 questions which candidates need to answer in under 1 hour 30 minutes. AILET 2019 question paper was divided into five sections which are English, Basic Mathematics, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Each correct answer carries one marks, and each incorrect answer carry 0.25 marks, so the maximum number of marks that an aspirant could have secured in the test was 150.
Registrations for AILET 2019 entrance exam closed on April 8 and the students were supposed to download the admit card by 22nd April, 2019. AILET results were released on 24th May 2019. You can check your AILET Result here:
AILET Counselling process starts after the declaration of AILET results. NLU Delhi is responsible for declaring the results and initiating the counseling process in June 2019. The procedure is conducted in-person, where the shortlisted candidate has to be at NLU Delhi campus as per the stipulated schedule provided to them.
This year, AILET 2019 exam was conducted on May 5 and the results along with the 1st merit list were released in the 3rd week of May 2019. The counselling process, as per policy was carried out as per the AILET Merit List. Candidates who were a part of the list received their admission letter on the registered Email ID and speed post from conducting body.
