Section-Wise analysis of NCHM-JEE 2020

Analysis of Numerical Ability and Scientific Aptitude

• Like previous year, this section was moderately difficult to attempt.
• Most of the questions asked in this section were of basic mathematics from Class 9th and 10th.
• A few other topics like Chain rule, Work and Wages, CI and SI, HCF, LCM, Area of Triangles and Time and Work were also covered.
• Candidates found the exam a little difficult to attempt, as the questions were tricky, moreover, consumed more time.

Analysis of Reasoning and Logical Deduction

• The section was of moderate level of difficulty.
• Most of the questions asked in the exam were from Statements and Assumptions, Number Series, Verbal Reasoning and Blood Relations.
• Questions from all the topics were equally distributed.
• Candidates found the section to be a bit easy and tricky at the same time.

Analysis of General Knowledge and Current Affairs

• Most of the questions asked in this section were from Static G.K
• Very less questions were asked from Current Affairs, which included questions from Domestic and International topics.
• Candidates reported that overall the section was easy to attempt.

English Language

• The section was easy to attempt.
• Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension dominated the exam this year.
• In addition, other topics like Synonyms and Antonyms, Prepositions, Fill in the Blanks and Conjunctions were covered.

Aptitude for Service Sector

• Questions in this section were about the Hotel Industry and its services.
• Candidates said that it was the easiest section to attempt.
• The section was based on analysis. Therefore, there were no right and wrong answers.
• All of the questions were value-based.
