What is the NCHM JEE Eligibility Criteria?
1. Candidates should have passed 12th or equivalent qualifying examination from a recognized board of secondary education with English as their core subject.
2. The candidates who are to take the entrance exam in 2020 have to show and submit the 12thpassing certificate for the final admission at the time of the counseling.
3. The candidates who are appearing in the 12th exam and have their results awaited can also appear in the NCHM JEE.
4. Candidates with a supplementary in their 12th are not eligible to appear in the exam.
5.  The candidates should ensure that the documents during the admission and the information that they have provided while filling the form are true and certificates are verified.
NCHM JEE Age Limit
General/OBC
1. Candidates that belong to the General or Other Backward Class (OBC) category have the upper age limit of twenty-two (22) years as on 01st July 2020. Such candidates should have been born after 01stJuly 1997.
SC/ST
2. The candidates that belong to the Schedule Caste (SC) /Schedule Tribe category have an upper age limit of twenty-five (25) years as on 01st July 2020. These candidates must have been born after 01stJuly 1994. 
Date of birth as recorded in the Higher Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate will be considered and taken as the authentic and as a valid proof, which will be accepted for the test. 
NCHM JEE selection procedure of the candidates in HM colleges 
For the NCHM JEE aspirants should have studied 5 different subjects with English as a compulsory subject up till 12th standard. The NCHM JEE examination consists of objective type questions based on the latest syllabus. Upon qualifying the NCHM JEE, students according to their obtained ranks, have to report for the counseling at an IHM closest to their centre of examination. During the counseling the students are asked to choose a college as according their score band range. The students are then allotted an IHM or the colleges participating in NCHM counseling, as per the choice of the student’s choice.
Reservation of Seats at NCHM Colleges
As per Government of India, rules candidates that belong to a specific category are admitted to seats reserved for them. Benefit of the reservation shall be given only to those classes/castes/tribes, which are mentioned in the respective central list published by the government of India.
- 15% for Scheduled Caste (SC) Category in Central and State IHM's.
- 7½% for Scheduled Tribes (ST) Category in Central and State IHM's.
- 27% for OBC (Central List) (Non-Creamy Layer) Category in Central IHM's.
- 5% seats shall be reserved for Physically Disabled across the board as per rules.
