About IPM
In 2011, IIM Indore introduced a five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). The program was introduced to cater to the changing needs of the corporate sector. The program is suitable for the students who choose to make a career in management right after they have passed 10+2.
The 5-year Integrated Programme in Management introduced by IIM Indore aims to provide an excellent education that enables students to adapt and develop diverse skills, which helps them become competent leaders in the industry. After IIM Indore, it was IIM Rohtak that introduced the program in their curriculum. However after these two IIMs, IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Ranchi introduced IPM in their curriculum from 2021.

IIM Bodh Gaya JIPMAT - IIM Bodh Gaya is an elite management institution in India that strives to provide a quality education that emphasizes practical understanding and critical thinking instead of traditional classroom learning. The B-school focuses on out-of-the-box learning that enhances students' learning and helps them develop managerial skills. From the academic year 2021, IIM Bodh Gaya started the 5-year Integrated Programme in Management. IIM Bodh Gaya offers the IPM program for students who have appeared in or completed class 12 and wish to pursue a career in management.

Why IIM Bodh Gaya IPM?
The IPM course is a combined course that offers both Undergraduate and Postgraduate management studies. Upon completing the program, the students would be awarded the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree by IIM Bodh Gaya. However if any student wishes to exit the course after 3 years, the student will be awarded the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA ). The five-year Integrated Programme in Management comprises 6 Semesters and 6 trimesters, which divides the program into two. The program's first half will be based on the semester system, focusing on foundation building. However, the second half will be based on the trimester system focusing on the theoretical and practical understanding of management.

IIM Bodh Gaya IPM Eligibility
Qualifying Exam Requirements:
- Candidates must have completed their 10+2/XII/HSC examination in Arts, Commerce, or Science stream (or equivalent) with a minimum of 60% overall for general category. And it is 55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender categories.
- This qualification should be from the year 2023 or for those appearing in 2024.
- Candidates expected to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by July 2024, are eligible to apply.
Class 10th Examination Criteria:
- The candidate must have passed the class 10th examination with at least 60% for general category candidates and 55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender categories.
- This should be for examinations taken no earlier than the year 2021
Calculation of Marks:
- The percentage of marks for Class X and XII will be calculated according to the Board’s regulations.
- In the absence of specific regulations, aggregate marks of all subjects appearing on the grade sheet will be considered.
Application and Admission Process:
- The application for candidates appearing in the Class XII examination will be considered provisional until their Class XII results are declared.
- Candidates failing to meet the required percentage will be excluded from the application/admission process.
IIM Bodh Gaya IPM Course Structure
Integrated Program in Management (IPM) is divided into two parts –the first three years focus on the foundation and the last two years focus on management learning. The first three years of IPM are based on the semester system and the last two years are based on the trimester system. The last two years of IPM are as per the prevailing MBA program.
At the end of the 2nd Year, students get a choice to undertake either –

- A research-based project
- Business Internship

Selection Procedure for IPM in IIM Bodh Gaya
- Applicants will have to fill in the registration form, including their details and academic qualifications on which basis the candidate's profile will be evaluated.
- The admission to the program will be conducted through JIPMAT – Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test.
- After qualifying JIPMAT, the shortlisted candidates will be called for the Personal Interview round. The students are also judged based on their academic performance, communication skills, and general awareness.
- Marks obtained in JIPMAT and Personal Interview will be computed in a ratio of 70:30, i.e., 70% weightage is for the entrance test, 15% weightage of 10th class, and 15% weightage of 12th.
- The total seat intake for the IIM BG - IPM Batch (2024) is expected to be 50 and additional 10 supernumerary seats for female candidates.
IIM Bodh Gaya IPM Application and Course Fees
The filing of the online application form for the IIM Bodh Gaya IPM will begin after the release of the official notification. However, the course fee would be –
- For the first three years – INR 4.5 Lakhs per Year (inclusive of the hostel)
- For fourth and fifth Year – INR 7.5 Lakhs per Year (inclusive of the hostel)
- Students will have to bear the mess charges as prevailing rates at IIM Bodh Gaya
