What Happens After the IPMAT Results are Released?
Once the results are out, candidates are called in for the Personal Interview (PI) round. PI has been mandated in IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak with the aim of assessing the candidate’s personality, communication skills, and on-the-spot knowledge of topics. Following so, potential candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in IPMAT, PI and past academic record. The weightage of this criterion is different, however, equally important.
How is the Composite Score Calculated?
IIM Indore also mandates a sectional cut-off apart from the overall cut-off. Hence, it is important to do equally well in all the sections to maximize your scores. Additionally, the introduction of sectional time from IPMAT calls for test takers to devote extra attention to maintaining speed and accuracy.
The overall as well as the sectional cut-offs have progressively increased over the years’ and so has the number of test takers. To ace the exam with flying colors, it is important to get your basics strong and practice an ample number of IPM mock tests.
