DU-JAT (DUET) 2021 Exam Analysis

DU-JAT or Delhi University Joint Admission Test is a national-level test conducted by Delhi University in collaboration with National Testing Agency (NTA). The examination is conducted for admissions to Bachelors of Management Studies, Bachelors of Business Economics, and BFIA. For 2021, the exam was conducted on 27 September 2021.
The entrance exam consisted of 100 questions, which were to be attempted within 120 minutes. The exam had a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer, and for every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 4 marks. The exam was conducted in computer-based mode.
DU-JAT Analysis: Important Points
  • The questions asked were a little tricky.
  • There were no questions from Current Affairs.
  • The exam was lengthy and time-consuming, which did hamper the total attempts of students.
  • Many students confirmed that the quant and GK sections were tough than others.
  • The exam had a random number of questions in each section, which did affect time management.

General English
The section was moderate to difficult, as students find it a bit tricky. Most of the questions couldn’t be attempted, as vocabulary was difficult. The passages were short and took time. Overall, the section was tricky.
