SAT or Scholastic Assessment Test is a standardised test conducted for admissions to undergraduate programs at colleges mainly in the US and Canada. The College Board conducts the exam to assess the candidate's readiness to get into colleges. Every year more than 2 million students sit for the exam. SAT is for 3 hours containing 154 questions and scores ranging from 400-1600 points divided into two sections ranging 200-800 points.
The College Board has discontinued SAT Subject Tests and SAT Optional Essay after June 2021 Administration. Thus, candidates will now appear for SAT only.
