Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted every year for admission to National Law Universities (NLUs). CLAT 2022 will be held on 19th June 2022. More than 50,000 candidates appear for CLAT annually, with the hope to be a part of a prestigious law university. The consortium of CLAT 2022 has released the answer key. CLAT answer key is released in two phases. In the first phase, the consortium authorities release a provisional answer key of CLAT 2022 with the help of which the candidates can calculate their CLAT scores. Thereafter, candidates can raise objections if they find discrepancies in their CLAT scores. The consortium authorities look through these discrepancies and revise the key accordingly. The final CLAT score along with the answer key will be released in the second phase.

Calculate marks based on CLAT 2022 Answer Key
Candidates need to be aware of the CLAT 2022 marking scheme to calculate their score. For every correct answer, 1 mark is awarded and for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks is deducted.
Formula for calculating CLAT 2022 score:
CLAT marks = Total number of correct answers - (Total number of incorrect answers X 0.25)
Through this formula, a candidate can calculate their score accordingly. If they find any discrepancy related to their CLAT score, they can reach out to the consortium of CLAT 2022 to get it reviewed.
Objections in CLAT 2022 Answer Key
If the candidates find errors in their answer key, then they can raise their objections to the consortium of CLAT NLUs. A window of 3 to 4 days is given to file the discrepancies. For this, candidates have to log in at the official portal and go to the answer key link. On clicking the ‘Raise Objections’ button, you will get the option to enter the question number and relevant details in support of your claim and then submit the details. Objections or errors raised over email or call are not be considered valid.
CLAT 2022 Final Answer Key
The consortium of CLAT NLUs creates a grievance team which review the errors pointed out by the candidates. If the discrepancies are found to be valid, then a revised answer key and CLAT score will be released in the final CLAT 2022 answer key.
