FLAME University focuses on delivering education that empowers a student in many ways. The undergraduate programme at FLAME University encompasses two aspects, namely the interdisciplinary approach and secondly making the student’s aware of the area of specialization. The university offers B.A., B.A. (Hons.), B.Sc. B.Sc (Hons), BBA and BBA (Communications Management) undergraduate programs. Students have the option to study subjects such as Physical and Natural Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences etc. which broadens their understanding of various subjects. Once these graduate students have an understanding of different subjects, they are in a position to make an informed decision about the area of specialization. Other courses which enhance the learning experience of the students include Critical reasoning, Academic Writing and I.T. Literacy, which helps the student to develop an analytical approach. The university’s undergraduate programs comprise of Foundation Courses, Specialization Courses, Experiential Learning Courses and Open Elective courses.

Eligibility for FLAME University’s Undergraduate programmes:-
  • The minimum requirement that needs to be fulfilled is that student studying in state boards/CBSE/CISCE should have scored at least 40% marks in 12th standard with English as one of the subjects. In case a student intends to pursue BBA post class 12th then the minimum percentage requirement is 45% in their final 12th exams.
  • For “Honours Degree Program in Economics”/ “Honours Degree Program in Computer Science”, student should have got passing marks in Mathematics in class 12th.
  • To gain admission in FLAME University, students can appear in SAT/ACT or FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT). Post the entrance, students have to appear for Essay/ Personal Interview round. It is mandatory that students understand the eligibility criteria mentioned on the college website for a better understanding of the admission process.
Selection Process for Liberal Arts Course at FLAME University:-
Students intending to enroll for undergraduate programmes at FLAME University have to go through a rigorous selection process.
  • Firstly students have to appear for an admission test (FEAT/SAT/ACT) followed by an essay and a personal interview round.
  • Students also have to submit past academic records, extracurricular activities along with statement of purpose. Those students who have scored well in the entrance have a chance to secure a scholarship. The aim of this university is to give a fair chance to deserving candidates
FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT):-
  • The first step entails that the candidate submits the application form and has made the payment and completed other formalities.
  • FLAME University conducts an entrance (FEAT) to shortlist deserving candidates.
  • The entrance test comprises 4 sections namely, Verbal Ability, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Ability and General Knowledge.
  • There will be multiple choice questions that a student needs to complete in 120 minutes and an additional 15 minutes is given to write the Essay.
Liberal Arts Programme Structure at FLAME University:-
The university’s undergraduate programs comprise of Foundation Courses, Specialization Courses, Experiential Learning Courses and Open Elective courses and students can enroll for any of the above mentioned courses.
  1. Foundation Courses:- There are five academic disciplines namely Humanities, Fine & Performing Arts, Social Sciences, Physical and Natural Sciences and Global Studies where students develop an understanding of different subjects and familiarize themselves with the theoretical concepts. Students have to study two subjects from each academic discipline which finally help them in deciding for the major or minor areas of studies. Other core courses that students study are Academic writing, Critical reasoning, Public speaking & debate, Environmental studies, IT Literacy and Ethics which develops a student’s perspection about various critical issues.
  2. Specialization Courses:- At the end of the third term in their first year, students opt for subject in which they intend to do majors and another subject which falls in the minor category. The Major and Minor subject combination allows a student to combine subjects which require more research and intensive study to combine with subjects that require more practical based training.

    Students volunteer to work with an NGO for four week duration.
     Discover India Program - DIP
    Students get an opportunity to learn about India’s cultural heritage through a structured approach .Inputs are delivered about basics of research, surveys and framing of questionnaire to the students.
    Summer Internship Project - SIP
    Through the Summer Project, students gain a practical experience in the field in which they intend to make their careers after completing their graduation.

  7. Apart from the specialization subjects, FLAME University allows students to take up to six electives in disciplines. Studying other subjects enable students to increase their understanding and instils a multi-dimensional approach.
