For the same purpose, the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, conducts a Joint Entrance Exam, NCHMCT JEE, for admission to the 3-year B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) degree programme.

- Aspirants must have passed English as a compulsory subject (core/elective/functional) in their 12th standard examination.
- The exam comprises 200 objective-type questions. Marking scheme: +4 marks for each correct answer and -1 mark for each incorrect answer. Unattempted questions get 0 marks.
- The result is released on the official NTA website.
- Cut-off will be determined based on minimum qualifying marks and the rank obtained by candidates.
