NCHMCT 2023 Notification | NCHMCT Exam Date

After the 12th, many students aspire to take a course in hotel management from the top colleges of the nation. For the same purpose, the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, conducts a Joint Entrance Exam, NCHM JEE, for the admission of students to the 3-year-degree programme. The candidates taking the exam competing for a coveted seat in their desired IHM out of 78 institutions nationwide. After the NCHM JEE result declaration, the students register for counselling in various centres for a seat allotment in a college of their choice.

NCHMJEE 2024: Latest Updates

NCHM JEE will be conducted in a Computer-based test mode.
Filling up of the NCHM JEE application process will begin once the admission notification has been released.
The NCHM JEE application fee is Rs. 1000 for General (UR, OBC/NCL), Rs. 700 for General (EWS), and Rs. 450 (SC/ST/PD/Transgender).
Institutes participating in NCHM JEE are now 78, including Central, State, Private & PSU Institutions.
In 2024, exam will be conducted in 75 cities.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced Test Practice Centres for students participating from rural areas.

The NCHM JEE aspirants must have passed English as a compulsory subject of study (core/elective/functional) in their 12th standard examination.
The NCHM JEE exam comprises 200 objective-type questions. For each correct answer, 4 marks are awarded and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrectly attempted answer.

NCHM JEE 2024 cut-off will be decided on the basis of the minimum qualifying marks criteria and rank obtained by the NCHM JEE test-takers.
