Panjab University BA/B.com LLB Entrance Notification

Every year the Panjab University, Chandigarh, conducts the law entrance exam for B.A LL.B/ B.Com for the 5-year integrated courses. The Panjab University 5-year law entrance exam is conducted for admissions to the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS). The P.U B.A LL.B/B. Com LL.B exam does not have a sectional division akin to the other law entrances such as CLAT, AILET, SLAT. The PU BA LLB/B.Com LLB entrance question paper is a mix of questions from topics such as General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

PU BA LLB/ B.com LLB Entrance Test Fee (Non- refundable):-
  • For General Category: Rs. 2,175/-
  • For SC/ ST/ PwD Category: Rs. 1,088/-
PU 5-Year Law Eligibility:-
  • 50% weightage is given to the marks scored by the candidates in the PU BA LLB/B.Com LLB entrance exam in addition to the marks scored in 10+2 examinations. An aspirant must score a minimum of 50% in 10+2 to be eligible to take the PU law after the +2 exam.
  • An aspirant who scores a higher percentage of marks in the PU law after the +2 entrance exam shall be ranked higher in the merit list for admission to the PU BA LLB and B.Com LLB.
  • When two or more candidates secure equal marks in the PU Law after +2 entrance exams as well as the 10+2 exams, then the candidate higher in age shall be ranked higher in order of merit.
