Vijaybhoomi University strongly believes that an essential skill that students must possess for the new decade is problem-solving in the volatile and uncertain times that we are living in. In a constant endeavor to engage meaningfully with Schools and students, the university is delighted to have completed the second edition of the Discovery Challenge- Dispersal of the Vaccine in March, wherein 200 teams across the country participated& abroad was witnessed. In the first edition of this challenge completed in January, about 200 teams worldwide participated in the event. Through this challenge, the university connected with 350 schools and 600+ students across the globe.
With the raving response received from the entire event, Vijaybhoomi University is now more than enthused to announce their return with the third edition of the Discovery Challenge- "LIVE FROM LOCKDOWN". In the third edition of this virtual competition, students (only of grade XI and XII) can participate in this challenge individually or in teams with up to 4 participants. The problem may be accessed using the link below. Each participant/participating team must offer their solutions to the problem by creating a PPT, which the participant should submit by the 27th of April, 2021. By logging into the portal, they would get access to post-registration.
Shortlisted teams will be invited to present their solutions virtually before our jury on the 8th of May 2021.
It is an excellent opportunity for schools to showcase the talent of their students on a national platform. All participants will be issued certificates, and winners stand a chance to win cash prizes of up to Rs.50,000. Winning Schools will also be offered trophies and certificates.
The contest will help the students build their problem-solving skills and provide them with a chance to showcase their talent to the world. However, the university is looking forward to significant participation this time also for this esteemed Ed-tech event.
