AILET Result 2027 is tentatively going to be announced in the third week of December 2026. So far, the AILET 2027 application was open from August 7, 2026, to November 10, 2026, with the AILET exam on December 13, 2026 (Sunday) from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM. National Law University, Delhi, conducts the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for its law programs through nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
The paper has not yet been held. Any “view result” link accessed before December 13, 2026, will not display a scorecard. In the previous cycle, results were issued after a provisional answer key and an objection window. NLU Delhi will compute the AILET 2027 result based on the final answer keys. The AILET 2026 took place on December 14, 2025, with the final answer key and results released on December 18, 2025. This year's process is expected to follow the same sequence. The result date for AILET 2027 has not been announced.
AILET Result 2027
NLU Delhi released the AILET 2027 notification on July 23, 2026. The admission notice and the application process opened on August 7, 2026, at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The exam format has remained the same as that of last year.

The undergraduate paper is offline, pen-and-paper, and two hours long, with no sectional time limit. It has 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks.

A correct answer carries 1 mark. A wrong answer costs 0.25. An unattempted question scores zero. There is no separate legal-reasoning or mathematics section. Legal principles may appear within a logical-reasoning question. The LL.M. paper is a different test. Do not revise for it on the undergraduate pattern.
Before the AILET Result
The form is the step that still matters. It is on nationallawuniversitydelhi.in, not on a coaching mirror. Fill in the name as it appears on the Class 10 certificate, upload a photograph and signature in the stated size, and pay until the confirmation page appears. A bank debit without that page is an unsubmitted form. Download the confirmation the same day. The admit card, when it is issued, will carry the centre and the reporting time. The result login will not repair a wrong name or a missing confirmation.
How to Check the AILET Result
When the notice about the declaration of the AILET 2027 result is out, visit only
nationallawuniversitydelhi.in to download the scorecard. In 2026, the scorecard was inside the AILET account used for the form. The 2027 click-path is not published yet. Take it from the result notice of that day. The process to check and download the result of AILET 2026 is given below.
- Log in with the AILET account used for the form.
- Open the scorecard link given in that day’s notice.
- Download the scorecard and keep a copy.
- Match the name with the Class 10 certificate.
- Check the programme, category, section marks and All India Rank, if those fields are on the card.
- If a figure looks wrong, write to the helpdesk named in the notice. Do not wait for counselling.
Do not use a mobile-number path copied from an older page. Do not use nludelhi.ac.in as a second official site. A wrong name or a missing confirmation cannot be repaired from the result login.
A counselling invitation, if it comes, is expected on the registered email, the SMS and the AILET login. Check the login even if the message does not arrive. NLU Delhi does not take responsibility for an undelivered message.
The scorecard is a rank input. It is not an admission. There is no fixed qualifying mark. Seats go by rank inside each category.
After the AILET Result
Counselling dates for 2027 are tentative. They have not been announced yet. In 2026, registration opened the next evening and closed on 27 December. The first provisional list came on January 8, 2026. Later lists followed in January, February, and May.
- NLU Delhi invited category-wise candidates, at about three candidates for each available seat.
- Only an invited candidate could register. Appearing for the exam was not enough.
- The 2027 expected counselling fee is ₹30,000 for General, Kashmiri Migrants and J&K, and ₹20,000 for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS and PwD. It was refunded if no seat was offered.
- A candidate on a merit list then paid a provisional confirmation fee expected to be paid, ₹50,000, in 2027, inside that list’s window.
- Missing the registration window closed the seat even for a strong score.
- Counselling will be online, not a walk-in at the Dwarka campus. A campus visit, if the year’s notice requires one, is a later document check.
Treat the fee and the invite ratio as last year’s process. The 2027 figures will come only in the result notice.
Tentative AILET 2027 cut-off, B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
These are the tentative AILET 2027 cut-offs for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), based on AILET 2026. NLU Delhi has not published a 2027 cut-off. The cutoff depends entirely on the number of applicants and the number of seats available for admission. A change in either figure moves the closing rank, even if the paper looks similar.
The ranks below are All India Ranks, not marks out of 150. The exam is on December 13, 2026. The result is tentative for the third week of December 2026. The cut-off will be the last rank offered a seat in each counselling list.
