The NMIMS School of Law (SOL) approved by the Bar Council of India aims to provide quality legal education in order to meet the aforementioned challenges. The School of Law (SOL) engages in case study model and class-debate methods as its chief teaching pedagogy. SOL has uniquely incorporated compulsory credit based Internship and Moot Court as subjects.
The program offers students to specialize in Humanities alongside Law. Beyond acquiring legal knowledge, the course encourages a critical understanding of Political Science, Economics, Sociology, and History. It explores their impact and interconnection with the law. Students gain exposure to Critical Thinking, Legal Writing, Moot Court Internship, and Professional Ethics. Additionally, selective foreign languages are taught to enhance international outreach and communication skills.
The B.B.A., LL.B. Program enables specialization in Management and Law. Learners acquire management skills through subjects like Human Resource Management, Accounting, and Statistics, exploring their impact on law. The curriculum includes Critical Thinking, Legal Writing, Moot Court Internship, and Professional Ethics. Selective foreign languages are also taught to give learners an edge over others for international outreach and business.
NMIMS is placed at the forefront of educational platforms owing to its academic quality, research focus and faculty from top national and global insitutes and insdustries. In 2003, NMIMS was declared a deemed to be university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. With a NAAC score of 3.59 and grade A+, NMIMS has received Category-I Autonomy Status.
