Shri Vaishnav Institute of Law is a constituent of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Trust. The institute was established with an aim to make legal awareness in the society and provide quality and excellent education. The university believes in producing competent professionals that contribute to the societal upliftment and welfare of the society through educational and professional oriented courses offered by the university. The university provides state-of-the-art facilities to the students to help them achieve the success and build a career in law that has been beneficial for them as well as contributes to the society.

SVIL offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes which are taught by the well experienced, qualified and an industrious faculty. The college ensures curricular enrichment by providing exposure to the students through seminars, conferences, moot courts, and field visits. The faculty at the university involves prominent legal professionals, academicians, international jurists, retired judges and industry experts that guide the students throughout their law journey. The teachers have adopted unique teaching-learning pedagogy that ensures overall learning and development of the students.

The admissions at the institute are solely based on the merit in the qualifying examination.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board. However, the minimum age for admission is 20 years for General/22 years for SC/ST/OBC.
