Mohanlal Sukhadia University, (erstwhile Udaipur University), was established in 1962 to serve in the field of education. It has been accredited A grade by NAAC and is approved by the UGC. The department of law, better known as University College of Law, is the oldest department, which offered LLB courses at its outset. Later in and after the year 1970, several courses, P.G. Diploma in labour laws, labour welfare, personnel management, company law and secretarial practices, criminology and socio-economic crisis, LLM, BA LLB and B.COM LLB (5year integrated course), were also initiated. The department is registered with Bar Council of India and BA LLB and B.COM LLB courses have been affiliated to BCI.
The college library is built over a large area and is a double storied building, equipped with well-furnished furniture racks having 55000 books and 7500 journals. The campus also avails separate residential facilities for boys and girls. Co-curricular activities and sports are duly encouraged. The placements cell of the college is quite active and successfully provides excellent job opportunities to the students. Along with placements, it also lets student take long term as well as for short-term internships.

Admission Procedure
- Admission is granted based on merit followed by counselling.
- A student is supposed to submit the application form, duly filled with all details along with other required documents.
- The annual fee for the course is less than 1.5 Lacs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% in any stream.
- There is no age limit.
