The School of Law, Hamdard Institute of Legal Studies and Research started its first academic session in 2018. The purpose of introducing law in the college was to uplift the bar of legal education in the state with the growing requirements.
Admission Procedure
Admissions to BA LLB program at Jamia Hamdard will be based on the merit in CLAT.
The preference for admissions to Law programs will be of CLAT applicants.
If a situation arises, where suitable CLAT candidates are not available or there is a delay in CLAT results, then Non-CLAT applicants will be selected based on their merit in the first five subjects in the qualifying examination.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in total.
The college accepts admissions through CLAT as well as merit base depending upon certain situations.
