Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya was a dream of Bhagat Phool Singh which came true when he established a Gurukul for girls. The college today stands as a centre of academic excellence in various fields of studies. The college also has constituent institutions under the aegis of BPS. The Gurukul was later given the status of university by the then CM of Haryana.
