JIPMAT Exam Pattern 2027: IIM Jammu & Bodh Gaya
The JIPMAT exam pattern contains three sections. The exam pattern is applicable for both IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya.
- The JIPMAT is conducted in online mode (Computer-Based Test or CBT).
- There is negative marking. One (01) mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.

JIPMAT Marking Scheme 2027
NTA will evaluate the performance of the candidates based on the marking scheme mentioned below:
- For each correct attempt, four marks will be awarded.
- For each incorrect attempt, one mark will be deducted.
- There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
JIPMAT 2027 Syllabus
Section A: Quantitative Aptitude
Questions in this section of the JIPMAT will involve an understanding and application of a wide range of subjects, up to and including Class 10 Mathematics.
Section B: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
The analysis of data presented in tables, pie charts, bar graphs, etc., will be the primary focus. Questions will test reasoning ability including visual reasoning, critical reasoning, verbal reasoning, and other areas.
Section C: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
The vocabulary and grammar from the English language will be used to construct the questions. A series of reading comprehension passages will be presented to test the ability to comprehend, interpret, and infer from the text.
