The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) score is a prerequisite for admission into the law programs offered by the prestigious National Law University (NLU), Delhi. Considered one of the toughest law entrance examinations in the country, it tests candidates in 3 areas, i.e. English Language, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, and Logical Reasoning.

AILET is a pen and paper-based exam with 150 questions to be solved in 120 minutes (2 hours). Hence, time management is of utmost importance. Students must solve AILET previous year question papers as they give a fair idea of the level of difficulty of the questions and the areas from which maximum questions can be asked. It is also important to make note of the marking scheme, each right answer is awarded with 1 mark, however, each wrong answer has a penalty of -0.25.
