The 5-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) offered by various institutes under the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) flagship is a prestigious program for students who have just completed their Class 12th.
The admission into this program is offered after clearing the Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT). The exam is conducted by two bodies, namely, IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak. IPMAT Indore entrance examination is divided in three sections and has a total of 90 questions with sectional timing of 40 minutes per section. +4 is awarded for each correct answer, however, 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect MCQ answer. There is no negative marking for Short Answer (SA) Questions. On the other hand, IPMAT Rohtak has 3 sections, namely, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability, of 40 questions each to be completed within 120 minutes. The marking scheme remains the same, and the exam is held in MCQ format only.
