Michael Madhusudan Memorial College, established in 1996 and affiliated to the KaziNazrul University, had a humble beginning with the traditional courses in Arts and Commerce. The Institute always tried to grow in tune with the demand of society and the public. The introduction of professional courses in B.B.A (H) was a milestone for the institute as it provides one of the best management courses in the city. Later on, courses in Science stream was opened in Physics, Microbiology, Mathematics, Zoology, Chemistry. At present, the college runs successfully twenty departments of which twelve courses are having Honours two professional courses (B.B.A. and B.C.A.) and seven general courses (Political Science, Economics, etc)
The Institution envisions the kind of College which would become the Centre of excellence. Significant measures have been taken for a holistic academic ambience to maintain the standard of higher education in the institute especially in the field of management as BBA is one of the most emerging fields in our nation nowadays.

- Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board/council in any stream with English as one of the main subject.
- Admission procedure is conducted through online (www.madhusudancollege.in) basis. The candidates may apply for Honors/Core and General/Program. Online selection is made on meritbasis through online counselling.
