Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies, also known as KITTS, Kerala was established in 1988 and is a vibrant centre to help one in establishing a career in the travel world. It is an autonomous institute under the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala. It conducts numerous courses and training programs for both aspirants and existing professionals of the tourism industry. KITTS is affiliated to the University of Kerala and is approved by AICTE.

The institute is located in a lush green environment and provides a serene atmosphere to the students. It includes all modern facilities including advanced technologies for imparting quality education, training, and research in the field of travel and tourism. It has well-built classrooms, well-furnished air-conditioned conference hall, an Information Technology lab, canteen serving hygienic and delicious food items as refreshments and a computerized library with 7000 books on management, travel, tourism, culture and other fields related to hospitality. In addition to this, it also provides residential facility for girls, within the campus and a well-maintained research centre for research on topics related to travel and tourism.

It offers various courses at an undergraduate and postgraduate level along with diploma courses, certificate courses, and research programs.
