Dr. Ghali College, Gadhinglaj was established in June 1984 as the previous name was Jagruti College of Arts and Commerce, Gadhinglaj. It was started with the view to impart higher education to the students belonging to educationally, economically and socially weaker section as well as depressed and oppressed classes in rural, hilly and remote region of Gadhinglaj Taluka. Top management programme like B.B.A. is the landmark in the college and was started in 2007. The college has maintained the standard of education in conventional as well as modern advanced programmes. The objectives of college are not to produce graduates but to develop such skills in them to face challenges of life that rural in location but global in its performance.
The vision of the institute is to educate and create awareness among young generation and prepare to face modern demands and challenges posed by the present society. To conduct various activities to raise awareness among the students regarding the social, political, economic and environmental realities of contemporary India. To propagate the higher education for women to produce social justice. To help needy and poor students to acquire higher education.
