Al-FALAH University (AFU) was established in 1997 as an institute for courses in science and technology. In a short span, it became one of the most promising interdisciplinary institutes in India. Today, it has courses across streams such as technology, medicine, commerce, education, and humanities. The School of Commerce and Management at AFU offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It takes an unusual approach to teach complex management topics by combining science and arts. AFU is one of the first universities to have introduced a Choice-Based Credit System, which allows the students to explore their area of interest. The student must have passed the 10+2 level examination (from a recognized board) with a minimum score of 45%.
