What is the NCHMCT JEE Eligibility Criteria?
- Candidates should have passed the 12th or equivalent qualifying examination from a recognized board of secondary education with English as a core subject.
- Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent exams can also appear in NCHMCT JEE 2027 provisionally. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling, admission, or latest by September 2027.
- Candidates must ensure that all documents and information provided during admission and form filling are valid and verifiable.
NCHMCT JEE Age Limit
There is no age restriction for appearing in NCHMCT JEE as per the New Education Policy. Candidates of any age who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply.
Physical Fitness
All qualified candidates must submit a physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format at the time of admission, confirming they can undertake the practical components of the course.
NCHMCT JEE Admission Procedure

Candidates receive +4 marks for every correct answer and -1 mark for each wrong answer.
Qualified candidates are allotted ranks and must participate in counselling at the nearest Institute of Hotel Management (IHM). During counselling, students select colleges based on their rank and preferences, leading to allotment in participating IHMs or other NCHMCT-affiliated institutes.
Reservation of Seats at NCHM Colleges
As per Central Government guidelines, seats are reserved for specific categories:
- 15% seats for Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates
- 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates
- 27% seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates as per the Central List
- 10% seats for General Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates
