Every year Indraprastha University formally known as Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi conducts IPU CET Law for its undergraduate programs- B.A. LL.B/ BBA LL.B. It is one of the major Law entrance examinations besides CLAT, AILET and SET- Law. This year the exam was held on May 19, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Evaluation : The level of difficulty of this section was moderate to difficult. The maximum numbers of questions were from current legal G.K. and Constitution. However, in comparison to other law entrances, principle-fact questions were less in this exam. An attempt of 28-30 questions was considered a good attempt in this section.

Evaluation: The 38 questions of logical reasoning were easy and moderate. Though it covered almost all the areas of reasoning, maximum number of questions was from Verbal Reasoning. Most of the questions were based on inference and conclusion and were a little difficult to understand. There were questions from calendars, syllogism, coding- decoding, verbal logic section. The students were required to form meaningful words from a given set. However, no question was witnessed from cubes, symboperation; simplification. An attempt of 28-32 would be a good attempt in this section.

Evaluation : The candidates found the section moderate to attempt. There was one RC based on insects. The RC was a little tricky to understand. However questions based on RC were easy to solve. Other areas covered were: antonyms, Synonyms, Jumbled Words, Completion & Contextual Vocabulary. The verbal section was dominated by vocabulary. Overall, this section was moderate. To score well one should have strong hold on vocabulary and grammar fundamentals. An attempt of 32+ would have been considered good

Evaluation : This year, GK was dominated by static GK questions ignoring current GK to a great extent. The Indian Polity section had lesser number of questions than expected along with an increase in the number of questions from static Science and Technology and Geography. The overall level of difficulty of the paper was moderate. An attempt of 24-26 questions is considered to be fair in this section.
