NMIMS Entrance Tests for UG Admissions 2023-24

Every year, SVKM’s NMIMS conducts the UG entrance tests for class XII pass-outs/ the appearing candidates, for admissions to BBA/B.Com/B.Sc./B.A./B.Tech programs across its campuses. In this article, you will get complete information regarding NPAT, CET, and LAT held byNarseeMonjee Institute for Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai.
These entrance tests are facilitated in computer-based mode acrossvarious test centers. NMIMS holds the following tests for UG admissions:
  • NMIMS-NPAT
  • NMIMS-CET 
  • NMIMS-LAT 
The candidate has to ensure that they read all the instructions before registering.

Exam Structure of CET
NMIMS-CETisbased on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology of 10+2 curriculum. For pharmacy admissions, test is from PCM / PCB combination as selected at the time of online registration form. CET is made up of 5 major sections and there is no negative marking in it:

Minimum of 60% aggregate marks from any stream. Candidate has to complete 2 years at Mumbai campus and 1 year at Kingston University, London. A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 TOEFL 80 or equivalent is required for those for whom English is not their first language or do not meet 70 % and above score in English Language.

Selection Process of UG Programs
Merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-LAT exam. The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
At any given point of time, if it is found that the information given by candidate i.e 12th or equivalent exam is incorrect, the candidate admission will be cancelled and fees will be refunded as per prescribed refund rules.
For Engineering: Candidates will be called for Counselling as per their merit. In the counseling session, candidates will be given admission to various specialization as per their merit, choice and availability of specialization as per eligibility criteria.
