DU LLB 2020 Analysis

Faculty of Law of the University of Delhi has been one of the top-most and preferred institutions imparting value-education in the field of law since 1924. This year the University conducted DU LLB Entrance Exam on 9 September 2020 in an online centre-based mode. There are various programs offered by the University, such as LL.B., LL.M. (2 years), and LL.M. (3 years). Delhi University Colleges accepting entrance exam scores are Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-Law Centre-II and I. The entrance exam for 2020 was of difficult level and consisted of five sections.

  • Mathematics
  • The section was of moderate to difficult level of difficulty. As compared to previous papers, the exam had basic questions of elementary mathematics. Candidate has to manage time, as questions were a little tricky. A good attempt of 8-9 questions will help you score well in this section. 
  • English
  • The section had questions from Reading Comprehension, grammar and vocabulary. The level of difficulty of this section was moderate. Reading Comprehensions were a little longer, which consumed more time. 2-3 questions were of difficult level and tricky. A good attempt of 16-17 questions will help you ace the section.
  • Logical Reasoning
  • The section was of easy to moderate level of difficulty. The section is a scoring one but tricky. Candidates must analyze the questions well to manage time. Students who would have solved previous years question paper have a chance to score better as the questions were similar.
  • Legal Aptitude
  • The exam has its main focus on the Legal Aptitude Section. The difficulty level of the exam was of moderate to difficult. Questions were based on Legal Maxims, Constitution, etc. questions from Constitution dominated the section. A reasonable attempt will be of 22-23 questions. 
  • G.K. and Current Affairs
Current Affairs and a few questions from G.K. dominated the section. To ace this section, you must have the proper preparation. Most of the questions were asked from topics like sports, science, literature, and arts. Candidates who prepared well for the G.K. and Current Affairs will surely score well in this section.
