The University provides for both 3 year Law program and 5 year integrated Law program in the form of B.A. LL.B. and B.Com LL.B. The University provides for quality education in the field of Law and students are given a holistic environment to learn and grow. The way to get admission in Panjab University is via an entrance exam which is of 100 marks. The PU B.A. LL.B/B.Com LL.B merit list and the cut-off is calculated by taking 50 percent of the marks scored in the exam and 50 percent of the score achieved in 12th standard.

From this section, there were only 10 questions. The questions were easy and the entire portion could be covered in 10-15 minutes.

Section 2: PU B.A. LL.B/B.Com LL.B Legal Reasoning
This section was a little tricky. There were questions from only two law subjects which were Constitution as well as criminal law. The legal questions were mostly dominated by legal current affairs. The questions were in the form of multiple choice questions and for students wishing to get into Panjab University, it is important that they have GK on their tips.

This section involved questions from both static and current GK in which there were mostly current affairs. This portion checked the level of general knowledge of students to a great extent. The part relating to GK dominated the entire exam where there were 58 questions which were from GK. The level of this section can be considered as difficult.
