MH-CET Law is the state-organised entrance test for admissions to 5-year integrated law courses in Maharashtra (latest exam information: 3-year LLB on April 1–2, 2026 and 5-year LLB on May 8, 2026). The State Common Entrance Test Cell conducts the examination every year, and about 153 colleges participate in it. The exam conducting body has the right to add and deduct colleges from the list of participating colleges in MH-CET Law. Every college has a limited number of seats. Even the number of seats is decided by the conducting body. The law entrance has 120 questions of one mark each, without any negative marking. The exam paper is divided into five sections, which are the core areas for testing a candidate’s ability.

However, recognised by the Bar Council of India, the law college offers five-year BA and three-year LLB courses. They also offer post-graduation in law and diplomas in six branches. They accept MAH-CET Law for admissions to law courses.
