How to crack MH-CET Law

MAH-CET Law is conducted every year by the State Common Entrance Test Cell for admissions to 5-year integrated law courses and 3-year LLB as well (latest exam information: 3-year LLB on April 1–2, 2026 and 5-year LLB on May 8, 2026). This section checks your skill and interest in law studies, legal aptitude, and problem-solving. Questions are based on legal propositions – you have to assume they are true and answer wisely by drawing the right conclusions. Prepare this section carefully by solving as many sample papers and previous questions as possible. The more you practice, the better you will understand how to approach these questions quickly and accurately.
MH-CET Law Preparation tips for General Knowledge & Current Affairs
This section has 24 questions, and it goes best for those who stay updated with news and current events. Guesswork might help sometimes, but not always. Make it a daily habit to read newspapers (like The Hindu or Indian Express) and note down important points – national/international news, awards, appointments, sports, etc. You can also use good GK resources, monthly magazines, or apps for quick revision. Focus on the last 12–18 months of current affairs, and don’t forget some static GK like history, geography, and polity.
MH-CET Law Preparation tips for Logical and Analytical Reasoning
This section carries high weightage after Legal Aptitude. You need to be thorough with tricks and shortcuts for solving analytical and logical questions fast. Practice topics like logical sequences, analogies, syllogisms, puzzles, coding-decoding, blood relations, directions, seating arrangements, etc. Solving lots of practice questions will help you spot patterns quickly and save time during the exam.
MH-CET Law Preparation tips for English
