CUET 2022: ALL About CUET 2022
CUET (CUCET) 2022 (Common University Entrance Test 2022) registrations started on 6 April 2022. In the recent CUET 2022 Notification, NTA has has reopened applications and correction window from 23 June 2022 (9:00 am onwards) to 24 June 2022 (up to 11:50 pm). This gives CUET aspirants an opportunity to apply for the exam and get admission to their desired colleges.
The national-level entrance test was formerly known as CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test). NTA will be organising the test in multiple shifts over multiple days for admission in different undergraduate/integrated, postgraduate, and research programmes across centrally-funded universities. The exam notification has been revised, and below mentioned are the revised details of the CUET 2022 Notification -
  • Previous year class 12th pass students can also take CUET 2022. For complete information, you can check CUET 2022 Eligibility Criteria.
  • Candidates can again apply and correct their CUET application form online from the official website from 23 June 2022 to 24 June 2022 (up to 11:50 PM).
  • CUET 2022 exam will be conducted on 15.07.2022, 16.07.2022, 19.07.2022, 20.07.2022 and 04.08.2022, 05.08.2022, 06.08.2022, 07.08.2022, 08.08.2022, 10.08.2022
  • The last date for a successful fee transaction is 24 June 2022 till 11:50 PM.
  • CUET (UG) is now mandatory for the 2022-23 academic session of Delhi University.
  • CUCET or CUET (UG) will be held in two slots of 3:15 hours (195 minutes) and 3:45 hours (225 minutes).
  • CUET (UG) is a LAN based CBT (computer-based test) with multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • CUET has three sections - Language, Domain Subject, and General Test. The language section is divided into two subsections: regional (13 languages) and international (19 languages).
What is CUCET?
CUET (CUCET) 2022 Exam Dates Out or Central University Common Entrance Test has been replaced by CUET 2022 or Common University Entrance Test as a mandatory common entrance exam for admission in Under Graduate Programmes in 45 Central Universities across India. State and Private universities can also adapt to the CUET admission criteria. The exam will be conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode for the 2022-2023 academic sessions by NTA. CUCET
The examination gives a chance to the students to be tested on their skills on the topics like- General aptitude, English, Reasoning etc. One has to be reasonably prepared to be on the top of the merit list in the CUCET results. From 2022-2023, the government advises that all the Central Universities will participate in CUET and conduct their admission process based on it.
Why CUCET?
CUCET 2022 or CUET 2022 is one of the most prestigious entrance exams in the country, with many prospects after getting admission into the preferred UG course. The courses offered at the graduation level under Central Universities vary from BBA to BA or B.Com. The student has to choose the program they want to make their career. CUCET Exam Overview
Based on the New Education Policy (NEP) and much consideration by NTA, it has been decided that the CUET exam will be conducted for admissions to all Central Universities, including other participating universities. Universities like Delhi University, Jamia Milia Islamia, JNU and many more. Although the CUET exam date is yet to be announced, other important information is available. CUCET 2022 Exam Pattern
CUET Exam Pattern 2022 will be divided into three sections, including Languages, Domain, and General Test. The first section, Languages, is further divided into two sub-sections where candidates can choose from 13 languages for the first sub-section and 20 languages for the second. The domain subject part allows students to pick from 27 different domain subjects. The last part of the general test contains everything from General Awareness to Current Affairs, mental ability, numeric ability, etc. As this examination consists of negative marking, candidates must be careful while attempting the CUCET (CUET) exam. Questions that the candidates do not attempt would not be reviewed and accessed by the CUCET authorities. Unanswered questions would not have any impact on the final merit score.
Admissions to the Central universities all over India are based on the CUCET score. CUCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for CUCET 2022 for the undergraduate program are:
  • Candidates should score a minimum of 50% marks in their +2 examination in the General category and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates should have taken up subjects in +2 depending upon the course they opt for.
However, candidates must check the required eligibility criteria set by the National Testing Agency (NTA) before filling out the forms. Candidates can check the eligibility requirements of the specific courses on the official website of the participating university.
What is the selection procedure for CUCET?
After the candidate has successfully attempted CUCET or CUET 2022 and cleared the exam, they must sit for a counselling session organised by the authority. This session is created for all the qualifying candidates, and the seats are provided on a Merit basis.
Counselling for CUCET happens individually at every Central University for the selected candidates. If the candidate's name is on the counselling session's list, they will be invited by the CUCET consortium. Then, on registering on the official website, the login credentials are given to the candidate. If the candidate has been called on to offline counselling, they will be required to reach the University campus and attend the session.

CUET 2022 Application Form 
CUET 2022 Registrations started again for a day on 23 June 2022 and will end on 25 June 2022 (11:50 PM). To register themselves, candidates can visit https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/ and start the registration process. Also, candidates will have a chance to edit their application, as NTA will open a correction window from 23 June 2022 to 24 June 2022. The registration process is as follows –

How to fill CUET 2022 Application Form?
To fill in the application form, candidates must know the steps to register for the CUET 2022. Follow the step to fill CUET Application Form 2022.
  1. Visit the official website of the CUET, i.e. https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.
  2. Click on the 'Apply Online' tab to register for the program.
  3. After clicking, candidates can choose the UG, PG, and RP programs.
  4. Complete the application with all the required details –program applied for, name, valid e-mail id, contact details, date of birth and verification code displayed.
  5. Once you have submitted all of the details, the application number and password are generated. The same is sent to your registered e-mail id and mobile number.
  6. Candidates can log in using the application number and password to complete the application filling in further details –personal details, academic qualifications and communication address.
  7. Next, the candidate must upload their scanned recent passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed formats.
  8. After uploading the images, candidates must select their examination centres according to their preferences.
  9. After submitting all, the candidate must step forward to pay application fees through online or offline (Challan) mode.
  10. Once all the steps are done, candidates will receive an automated e-mail and SMS on their registered e-mail and mobile number.

CUET 2022 Admit Card
The CUET Admit Card will be available around 10 to 15 days before the CUET 2022 exam date. The CUET Admit Card will feature the exam centre address, exam timings, application number, and course. The CUET Admit Card and a valid photo ID are required on the examination day. If there is an error on their CUET 2022 Admit card, they must contact the exam conducting body as soon as possible to resolve the problem.
CUET 2022 Answer Key 
After the successful conduct of the CUET exam, the authority will release the provisional answer key in July 2022. The test takers can then analyse their performance and calculate their scores with the help of the CUET 2022 answer key. Candidates can even contest the answer key by providing supporting documents if there are any discrepancies. However, the process is to be completed in a stipulated time. After taking valid considerations, CUET Final Answer Key will be released.
CUET 2022 Result
Candidates can check their CUET Results online within a month after the exam has been successfully conducted. Candidates must log in on the official CUET website using the login credentials generated at registration to check the results. Candidates can then download the scorecard, which will contain the score and the qualifying status of the candidate. Based on the marks scored by the candidates, CUET 2022 merit list will be prepared.

  • Click on the "CUET 2022 Scorecard" in the latest news section.
  • Upon clicking, a new login window will open.
  • Enter your roll number and date of birth and click on the login tab.
  • Your result will appear on the screen. You can download the scorecard and save it for future use.
CUET 2022 Cut Off
Once the exam is successfully conducted, CUET Cut-off will be released along with the CUET result. Candidates who score more than the cut-off are later invited to participate in the counselling process. CUET cut-off will be based on the number of applicants, exam difficulty level, previous year cut-off trends, and the number of seats. Besides, CUET cut-off might vary depending on programs and colleges.
CUET 2022 Counselling
Post the release of the CUET result, each of the participating universities will start its CUET counselling process. For registrations, candidates must visit the official website of the participating university they want to attend and select the desired programs in the stipulated time. Candidates must carry all the required documents during the counselling process for verification. After the CUET 2022 Counselling, the admission lists for CUET 2022 will be provided based on the selections made by the candidates.
