What is SLAT?

Symbiosis University is one of the branded and internationally recognised institutes when it comes to the education sector. There are 4 Symbiosis Law Schools (SLS) in total in the nation, and these are in the four major cities which are SLS Pune, SLS Hyderabad, SLS Noida, and SLS Nagpur.

The competition to get into SLS is unimaginably high with an entrance test required to qualify for the admission process. Aspirants with the vision to get into SLS must appear for Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) and meet the minimum eligibility criteria. The process is challenging but opens doors to the most prestigious private law colleges in India.

Important Dates for SLAT 2026

Interestingly, the SLAT exam pattern and conditions allow two attempts. A candidate can appear for SLAT on both the dates December 20, 2025 (Saturday) and December 28, 2025 (Sunday). However, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation and no normalization will be allowed.

What are SLAT Eligibility Criteria?

The SLAT aspirants should check their eligibility carefully before filling the form and make sure that they fulfil all the SLAT eligibility conditions for filling the application in all regards.

The candidate should have qualified 12^th or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
The general and OBC category students should have 45% marks in 12^th.,
For the SC/ST candidates of SLAT, the minimum marks required are 40%.
There is no upper age limit for SLAT aspirants.
