To be a part of the emerging hotel management career option, aspirants need to appear for the National Council of Hotel Management Joint Entrance Test (NCHMCT JEE). By clearing the entrance, aspirants get admission to leading Hotel Management Institutes in India. The cut-off is the minimum mark that makes an aspirant eligible to get admission into any of the top IHM’s. National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NCHMCT JEE 2025 as a computer based test(CBT). Also, the NCHMCT JEE 2025 cut-off will be released for different categories based on which the admissions will be offered to the aspirants .
NCHMCT JEE Counseling
After the declaration of NCHMCT JEE 2025 results, students will have to report for counselling at an IHM closest to their centre according to their obtained ranks. During the counselling, the students are asked to choose a college according to their score band range. The selected students are then allotted an IHM college as per their choice.
NCHMCT JEE 2025 Cut-Off
1. The NCHMCT JEE cut-off scores are the minimum scores and the ranks that a student seeking admission in IHM will need for attending the IHM counselling.
2. The NCHMCT JEE cut-off lists are prepared based on minimum qualifying marks and the rank obtained by an aspirant in JEE.
3. The opening and closing ranks for NCHMCT JEE are displayed during the counselling. Students can lock their choice of IHM’s as per their ranks during counselling, and according to the category they fall under.
4. There are certain factors, which influence the cut-off list of NCHMCT JEE. Some of them are the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of seats, and the total number of candidates who appeared in the exam.

The exam conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA), provides All India Ranks to the NCHMCT JEE candidates based on which candidates are shortlisted for the Merit List. Candidates are selected for counselling based on the Merit List. If two or more candidates get the same rank, then the tie is broken in the following ways:
- Candidates who have higher marks in the English section of the NCHMCT JEE entrance are ranked higher
- If the candidates still are on a tie, then the marks in Service Aptitude Test will be considered
- If the tie continues, then the age factor will be considered. The ones who are elder will score higher and be ranked first
