NCHMCT JEE 2026 Eligibility

National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) conducts a Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) every year for admissions to top hotel management institutions. NCHMCT JEE is an important exam for candidates who wish to fulfil their dream of pursuing a career in the hotel and tourism industry from the top IHMs of the country. The National Testing Agency conducts NCHMCT JEE as a computer-based test every year for NCHMCT. Based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance test, admission into one of the 78 participating colleges is granted post counselling.
For admission to India's most prestigious hotel management institutes, aspirants have to qualify for the NCHMCT JEE entrance test. To appear in NCHMCT JEE, the aspirants need to meet certain eligibility conditions laid by the NCHMCT (National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology). The National Testing Agency (NTA) is the exam-conducting body of NCHMCT JEE. NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam will be conducted by NTA.
For the 2026 session, NTA has not announced the exam dates and registration dates yet. So aspiring candidates must keep track of admission notifications. NCHMCT JEE 2026: Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates should have passed 12th or equivalent qualifying examination from a recognized board of secondary education with English as their core subject.
2. The candidates who are to take the entrance exam in 2026 have to show and submit the 12th passing certificate for the final admission at the time of the counselling.
3. The candidates who are appearing in the 12th exam and have their results awaited can also appear for NCHMCT JEE.
4. Candidates with a supplementary in their 12th are not eligible to appear for the exam.
5. The candidates should ensure that the documents during the admission and the information that they have provided while filling the form is valid and certificates are verified.

NCHMCT JEE Age Limit
There is no age restriction for appearing in NCHMCT JEE as per the New Education Policy. As such, candidate of any age who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply

Physical fitness criteria for applying for the NCHMCT JEE 2026 Exam
All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate of carrying out practical claims as required in the course at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format.
A candidate must know all about the eligibility criteria in order to appear for NCHMCT JEE 2026. If the candidate is not eligible for the entrance test then they would not be allowed to attempt it. Students must majorly follow three major conditions for NCHMCT JEE 2026 eligibility: age, qualification and physical fitness.
