Indian Institute of Education was established in 2002. Foundation stone of the Institute was laid by Pt.Shaligram Ji, a Recipient of President Award in the State Award in the field of Education. Presently Institute is of 15km from Main Bus Stand, Shimla and 1km from Ghanahatti adorned by the beautiful and picturesque hillocks of erstwhile estate of Dhami and Keonthal

  • Admission to the course shall be made strictly on academic merit, based on the marks obtained in 10+2 or an equivalent examination.
  • The list of the merit to this course shall be prepared by University Institute of Legal Studies, after conducting interview and final list of Merit shall be made.
  • Minimum of 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent.
  • All relevant documents like mark sheets and identity verification required.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Plus two in Arts, Science and Commerce from a recognized board.
  • Minimum marks criteria is 50% marks for General category and 45% marks SC/ST.
  • (However the eligibility criteria for admission as per H.P. University norms.)
  • For admission to UG Law programmes, there is no age bar.
