IPMAT is a nationwide exam for admission to the five-year Integrated Programme in Management offered at IIM Indore. IPMAT indore 2023 exam date was16th June 2023.  The actual analysis will be available here soon after the completion of the exam. The exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode throughout various test centres.
There were a total of 90 questions from three sections, testing your quantitative, verbal, and short-answer skills (MCQ). The entire test lasted 120 minutes, with a 40-minute time cap on each section. The exam schedule changed from the previous years.

  • The IPMAT is a computer-based test that was given at several test centres throughout the world on the same morning.
  • The time allotted for the exam was 2 hours or 120 minutes.
  • Except of the subjective type question, there was a negative marking on the 2023 IPMAT exam.
  • For every question that is answered incorrectly, a student will lose one point. Each question awards  four points.
  • Overall, the challenge level was fairly low last year. The question paper's difficulty level is expected to remain the same from last year's exam to this year's.

IPMAT Indore Exam Overall Analysis
IPMAT Indore 2023 was conducted by IIM-Indore on 16th June 2023 in order to seek admissions into the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). The candidates were amazed to find that the exam was conducted with a revised structure with no prior information given to candidates.
The paper comprised 90 questions across three sections: Quantitative Ability (MCQ); Quantitative Ability (Short Answers), and Verbal Ability (MCQ). The duration of the exam was 120 minutes, with a sectional time limit of 40 minutes per section.
Every correct attempt would fetch 4 marks, while every incorrect attempt would attract a penalty of 1 mark (except for the short answer section). Listed below are the major features of IPMAT 2023:

IPMAT IIM Indore 2023: Sectional Analysis
IPMAT 2023 exhibited the overall difficulty level of the paper as moderate, with the Verbal section being quite easy. As for the Quant sections, it was a mixed bag of concepts and topics.  Given below is the detailed description of all three sections of the exam:
BBA-Test-Series
Quantitative Ability( SA)
This section had 15 questions in total. The section had no negative markings; however, the questions were of a moderate-difficult level. This section had a mixed lot of questions from varied concepts.
Quantitative Ability (MCQ)
The level of difficulty of this section was similar to that of the previous year, and was considered moderate. There were 30 questions, with a sectional time limit of 40 minutes.
Verbal Ability
This section was easy-to-moderately difficult. The 45 questions could easily have been completed within the given time frame.
