- General/EWS/NC-OBC: Born on or after August 1, 2006 (tentative, maximum 20 years as of July 31, 2026).
- SC/ST/PwD: Born on or after August 1, 2001 (5-year relaxation, tentative, maximum 25 years as of July 31, 2026).

Qualifying Exam and Standard X/SSC
|
- Passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent in 2024 or 2025, or appearing in 2026 (tentative). - Passed Standard X/SSC or equivalent.
- Minimum marks: 60% aggregate in both X and XII for General/EWS/NC-OBC; 55% for SC/ST/PwD.

Other Details

- Candidates completing Standard XII by July 31, 2026 (tentative), can apply provisionally (subject to document submission at registration).
- Percentage of marks in X and XII calculated based on the aggregate of all subjects per Board’s regulation. If grades, convert per certified procedure.

Application Period
|
- Online registration for IPMAT Indore is tentatively from February to April 2026. - Separate application for IIM Ranchi IPM required, likely in similar period.

Reservation
|
- 27% for NC-OBC, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 10% for EWS, 5% for PwD (as per Government norms).
- PwD includes blindness/low vision, deaf/hard of hearing, locomotor disability, autism/intellectual/specific learning/mental illness, multiple disabilities, or other specified. Must be ≥40% disability as certified.
