The IPMAT Indore exam date is released by IIM Indore & the exam is set to be conducted on Thursday, May 23, 2024 (afternoon shift)
What is IPM?
The Indian Institute of Management (Indore) took a unique initiative by introducing a 5-year Integrated Program in Management in 2011. IIM Indore designed the integrated program in management, keeping in mind the requirements of the corporate world. After passing class 12th or higher secondary education from India, the program inducts students and internationally recognised secondary education boards.
The 5-year Integrated Program in Management aims to provide a holistic education that will enable the students to develop their managerial skills and mould them into leadership roles. After IIM Indore,
IIM Rohtak also introduced the Integrated Program in Management in their curriculum.
Why IPM?
Getting an opportunity to study in one of the best management colleges in India, that too after 12th, is a dream come true for many management aspirants. IIM IPM Indore's core objective is to carve students into competent management professionals who are also ambitious business leaders with the potential to lead and revolutionise the business world. The program provides a perfect opportunity to the young and enthusiastic management aspirants for pursuing education and a career in business management. The 5-year-management course brings an overall personality development in the students earlier than those going for the master's or PGM diploma students thus, making IPM students more socially and professionally sound and aware.
A couple of reasons that make a 12th pass-out consider preparing and studying IPM in IIM Indore are enlisted below:-
- The lower level of competition in the IIM IPM entrance after 12th, compared to the competition that the students have to face after their bachelor's, for the master's or the postgraduate diploma program in management.
- At IIM Indore, you will find the best mentors and the faculty that imparts the best training to the students pursuing IPM. This early beginning at IIM Indore gives an additional edge to the students over those students who opt for management courses after graduation.
- The IPM students get the IIM brand value after graduation, which is undoubtedly before the master's or PG diploma in business management from an IIM.
- The chances of getting employed upon completing the IPM course multiplies as compared to the traditional graduates.

Some of the top IPMAT accepting BBA colleges, apart from IIM Indore include IIM Ranchi, IIM Nagpur, IIM Rohtak, IIFT kakinada, TAPMI Bengaluru, Nirma University Ahmedabad, and NALSAR University.
