CLAT 2021 Question Paper & Answer Key

The Common Law Admission Test or CLAT is held annually for admission in any one of the National Law Universities (NLUs). Around 60,000 CLAT aspirants give the exam every year with high hopes to be a part of the prestigious Law Universities. CLAT 2021 scheduled to be conducted on 13th June 2021 has been postponed now. To prepare well for the examination, a student needs to go through the CLAT 2021 question papers & answer key for determining a good score.

The consortium of CLAT 2021 will release the answer key in a week after the exam has been conducted. The answer key is supposed to be released in two phases. In the first phase, the consortium authorities will release a provisional answer key of CLAT 2021 through which the candidates can calculate their CLAT marks. Thereafter, candidates can raise objections if they find discrepancies in their CLAT scores. The consortium authorities would view these discrepancies and revise the key accordingly. The final CLAT score along with the answer key would be released in the second phase.

Candidates should have an understanding of the CLAT 2021 marking scheme to calculate their CLAT score. For every right answer, the candidate will be awarded 1 mark and for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Formula for calculating CLAT 2021 score

CLAT marks = Total number of correct answers - (Total number of incorrect answers X 0.25)

With this formula, a candidate can calculate their score accordingly. If they find any discrepancy related to their CLAT score, then they can reach out to the consortium of CLAT 2021 to get them revised.

If the candidates are able to find some errors in their answer key, then they can raise their objections to the consortium of CLAT NLUs. The candidates will be given a window of 3 to 4 days to file these discrepancies. Candidates will have to log in at the official portal and go to the answer key link. They can click on the ‘Raise Objections’ button. Thereafter, they will get the option to enter the question number and relevant details in support of your claim and then submit the details. Those would not be considered valid if the candidate chooses to raise objection or errors over email or call.

The consortium of CLAT NLUs will create a grievance team where the errors pointed out by the candidates will be reviewed. If the discrepancies are found to be valid, then a revised answer key and the final CLAT score will be released in the final CLAT 2021 answer key.
