Top Universities and Colleges Accepting CLAT Score

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), conducted by National Law Universities (NLUs) on a rotational basis for admissions to Undergraduate (BA LLB) and Postgraduate (LLM) degree programs, is a standard exam for admissions to law programs in various universities. Law is one of the most sought-after career options, offering lucrative pay and significant influence to law aspirants. It is important to note that the CLAT 2026 registrations have begun. Interested students can register themselves between August 1, 2025 and October 31, 2025. The exam will be conducted on December 7, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm in pen and paper mode.

As per the recent official data, 25 National Law Universities welcome CLAT scores. NLU Delhi conducts AILET, which is also accepted by a few colleges. It is important to note that NLU Tripura has opted out of the 2025-26 admissions counseling process.
