SLAT 2025 Cut-offs
The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is a gateway to Undergraduate Law programs (B.B.A. LL.B. and B.A. LL.B) at Symbiosis Law Schools, India. The entrance exam has been designed to test a candidate’s knowledge and problem solving skills under time constraints. The exam can be qualified on the cut-off basis as thousands of candidates appear for a limited number of seats, making the exam highly competitive for law aspirants.
There are a total of four Symbiosis Law Schools in the country, specifically in Pune, Hyderabad, Noida and Nagpur and the seats are allotted on the basis of cut-offs (determined by factors like the exam’s difficulty, number of applicants and seat availability). It is crucial to make note that the SLAT Exam Pattern was changed recently. In contrast to the 150 questions long test, SLAT is 60 minutes long consisting of 60 questions of one mark each now conducted out of 60 marks.

SLAT is the gateway to the Law programs offered by Symbiosis International University (SIU). The selection procedure consists of the written test i.e. SLAT (previously also known as SET-Law), followed by Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) rounds. As mentioned earlier, Symbiosis Law School has its campuses at Pune, Nagpur, Noida, and Hyderabad. For admissions into undergraduate law programs (BA LLB and BBA LLB), applicants are expected to have a certain minimum SLAT cut-off marks in the written examination to get short-listed for the PI-WAT rounds.
All SLAT 2023 participating universities will release the cut-off separately. Candidates appearing for SLAT 2023 can refer to previous years' SLAT Cut-off to get an idea of the marks that are required to secure a seat at Symbiosis International University.
