NLU List | List of National Law Universities under CLAT 2026

The CLAT 2026 registration process has now begun. Registrations will take place from August 01, 2025 to October 31, 2025. The official date for the exam has been released and is taking place on December 07, 2025.

Before filling out the admission forms and starting your preparation for CLAT, it is essential that the candidates are aware of the list of National Law Universities (NLUs) accepting CLAT-UG results for admissions to their various law programs.

Note:National Law University, Tripura (NLU, Tripura) has decided not to take part in the Admissions Counselling Process for the upcoming academic year. Therefore, candidates who took the Common Law Admission Test in 2025 are notified that NLU, Tripura must be withdrawn from their lists of preferences as part of the Admissions Counselling.

Does NLU Delhi accept CLAT score?

The National Law Universities (NLUs), including IP University, use CLAT scores to determine admission. However, the National Law University of Delhi administers the AILET, which is the only test considered for law admissions to NLU Delhi.

If you wish to get admission to one of the top 5 NLUs, the anticipated CLAT Cut Off for 2026 should be between 95 and 100.
