For AILET 2025-2026, some significant changes in the exam pattern have been made by NLU Delhi. NLU Delhi modified the syllabus wherein Legal Aptitude and Elementary Mathematics have been removed from the AILET paper pattern. Legal principles may be used in the logical reasoning section to check the candidate's familiarity with legal reasoning. However, the examination will not require prior knowledge of law, legal terms, or principles.
AILET 2025-2026 Exam Pattern: Overview
  • AILET 2025-2026 Exam Pattern will now have three sections – English Language, Logical Reasoning, and Current Affairs and GK.
  • If two or more applicants get the same score in AILET 2025-2026, their merit will be decided by the better score in the Logical Reasoning section.
  • If the candidates' merits remain equal, the older candidate should be given precedence. A computerised random number generator should be used if there is still no merit change.
