IFIM was established in 1995 by the DSIJ (Dalal Street Investment Journal) Group and was promoted by the Centre for Developmental Education (CDE). Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate should have passed +2/PUC or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks. 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates. The study criteria should belong to 10/SSLC, +2/PUC pattern. The applicant who has passed the prescribed minimum qualification in single sitting examination without having basic qualification is not eligible for admission for 5 years BBA, LL.B. course.
  • Be or be less than twenty years in case of general category of applicants and less than twenty two years in the case of applicants from SC, ST and other backward communities as on 25th April, 2020.
  • The applicants, who have passed the examination from any board of examination other than Karnataka State, shall apply for and obtain the Eligibility Certificate from the Karnataka State Law University, Hubli.
  • Must have qualified in any one of the entrance examinations, viz., CLAT, LSAT-India- India or ILAT (IFIM’s Law Admission Test)

Note:

  • In addition to the above stated fee, the candidate is required to pay additional one-time fee of INR 5,000 towards Student Council Fund; INR 5,000 towards IFIM Alumni Association and INR 5,000 towards University eligibility fee.
  • Course/Hostel Fee payment to be done online
  • Students are required to pay the University examination fees and other Miscellaneous fees as applicable from time to time.
  • Hostel fee is subject to change every year.
  • Hostel rooms are allotted on a first come-first-serve basis and are subject to availability.
  • Hostel occupants shall mandatorily stay in the hostel for one whole academic year.
  • Taxes (if any) will have to be borne by the student as per the prevalent rates at the time of making such payments.

How to Apply Scholarships

Application for scholarship shall be made along with the regular admission application for the 5 years BBA.,LL.B program clearly mentioning such need and produce evidence towards the same. Late applications will not be entertained after the phase – I admission deadline. A sample application form is provided in Annexure ‘A’.

Terms and conditions applicable to scholarship holders:
A scholarship will initially be awarded for a period of one year, which is renewable every year subject to the compliance of all the conditions mentioned here-with.

✓ Maintain 95 % attendance in every academic semester.

✓ Comply with all the interventions (SIP, IIP, PEP and RI) as per the institutional requirements.

✓ Maintain an overall CGPA of 8.0 out of 10 every academic year or secure 60% or above in the KLSU end term examination conducted every semester to be eligible for the extension of the scholarship in the subsequent year.
