CLAT Cut Off 2023 - Check Previous Year NLU Cut-Off

The Consortium of National Law Universities organizes CLAT annually, with different National Law Universities taking turns to conduct it. Following the declaration of results for CLAT 2023, the National University of Research and Study in Law released the cut-off. This comprehensive list is calculated by considering various factors and is determined based on the opening and closing ranks for NLUs. The cut-off is typically published a few days later.

Factors determining CLAT Cut-off

Admissions officers will examine the following factors when determining the cut-off:

The number of candidates who will sit for the CLAT 2023 entrance test.
How many of these applicants apply for admission?
Previous Cut-Off trends.
The number of seats available for the 5-year LLB programme
Category (SC, ST, etc.)
Cutoff patterns from previous years

If any of these factors change, the CLAT cut-off will also change. For example, the cutoff will rise if the number of applications grows. In contrast, as the number of applicants decreases, the cutoff will most certainly decrease as well.

CLAT 2018 was conducted on May 13 by NUALS, Kochi and the answer key was released on May 28, 2018. The first allotment list will be released on June 10, 2018.

CLAT 2017 was conducted on May 14 by Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna and the answer key was released on May 29, 2017. The first allotment list will be released on June 11, 2017.

CLAT 2016 Cut Off

The first allotment list was released on 1st June. RGNLU released the second list in the second week of June. The third and the fourth allotment lists on the 20th and June and 29th June respectively. The admissions closed on 6th July 2016.
